Oregano lemon lemonade

A very refreshing drink giving a real taste of summer

Equipment

  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Sieve
  • 1 Blender or smoothie maker
  • 1 Chef's Knife (Available from Amazon) optional

Instructions

  • Wash and cut the lemon into bits.
    6 Lemon
  • Put in a bowl and squeeze the lemons (to release the juice) until they start to break up.
  • Add the sugar, mix with a spoon and leave for a few hours to release the flavour.
    6 tbsp Sugar
  • Peel the oregano leaves from the sprigs.
    2 sprigs Fresh Oregano
  • Remove the lemon skin and pips from the bowl and add the oregano.
  • Use the blender to cut into small bits (or I just use a shake blender)
  • Pour through a sieve and add water and ice cubes.
