Warm raspberry sauce

Quick & easy to make and a spectacular looking dessert or snack.

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan

Ingredients

  • 250 g Raspberries
  • 100 g jam sugar
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice (1/2 lemon)

Instructions

  • Squeeze the lemon juice and (if required) defrost the raspberries.
  • Add all the ingredients into the saucepan and heat to boiling.
  • Boil for 3 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • Let it cool for a little while to help it thicken.
  • Put 2 or 3 balls of ice cream into a bowl and pour over the warm sauce. 
  • Optionally - top with whipped cream
