Lettuce leaf basil has large leaves and a slightly less strong basil flavour.
As a result it is great to use as a lettuce substitute – often used for sandwiches, tacos, pesto and salads.
it will provide the same fresh flavour as fresh lettuce, but in addition will also give the taco a slight hint of basil.
