Orange juice, strawberries & 0% Greek Yoghurt

Adding strawberries to your shake will provide extra vitamin C and K, as well as a great source of folic acid, manganese and potassium – but if can try to use fresh strawberries as they taste even better.

The combination of these ingredients makes a lovely โ€˜creamyโ€™ tasting shake or smoothie โ€“ Great as a โ€˜quick & easyโ€™ shakeโ€™ full of vitamins.

How to make a strawberry orange shake

Ingredients:

strawberries
  • 225 ml Orange juice
  • 4-5 Strawberries Fresh
  • 4 tbsp Greek Yoghurt 0% fat
  • 4-6 Ice cubes (optional)

Equipment

  • Blender

Instructions

  • Pour the orange juice into the blender
  • Cut the strawberries in half and add them into the blender
  • Add 4 tablespoons of Greek Yoghurt.
  • Optionally add protein powder (see below)
  • Optionally add 4 to 6 ice cubes
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour and enjoy

Why add protein powder?

If you are using the strawberry orange shake as part of a meal replacement weight loss diet then protein powder will make a difference.

You wonโ€™t notice any taste difference but protein will help prevent hunger between meals, as well as helping your muscles.

Ingredients

  • 225 ml Orange juice
  • 4-5 Strawberries
  • 4 tbsp 0 % fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp Protein powder
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Pour the orange juice into the blender
  • Cut the strawberries into half and also into the blender
  • Add the Greek Yoghurt
  • Optionally add the ice cubes and maybe the protein powder
  • Blend until the ice cubes are completely crushed. Ice cubes are optional.
  • Pour and drink
