So far :…. 32 out of 239 countries completed.
The country recipe challenge is to cook (at least) 1 recipe for each country in the world.
The map show the recipes I have made for each country – below the map is a list of all the recipes. (Sorry some countries – like Samoa – don’t show on the map. Just select the region for all the recipes)
The recipes made to date
African recipes
Asia recipes
European recipes
Far east recipes
North America recipes
Middle east recipes
Oceania recipes
South American recipes
Original recipes but sometimes different.
I try to use authentic recipes, however (unfortunately) not all the ingredients are available in my local area.
For example Gachas manchegas (pictured) is delicious but Grass Pea flour is not easily available.
Which is why I’ve adapted some of the recipes to use home grown herbs or easy to get ingredients. Similarly I’ve also added recipes to make essential pastes, syrups, etc. you can make when growing your own herbs, peppers, etc.

The next country…
In order to avoid picking easy recipes – Italy, Spain, etc.
I will use the random country generator to select the next country.
The easiest way to keep updated is to follow me on either my Instagram or Facebook page
